We will read "A Snicker of Magic" by Natalie Lloyd. We will use the glue, borax, and glow powder to make slime and the containers for storage. We will use the ice cream syrup, sprinkles, bowls, and spoons to enjoy the "Ice Cream of the Day." We will use the blue notebooks and filler paper to create a word journal as mentioned in the story. We will use the canvases, paints, brushes, and sponges to create a "mural" like the one Felicity's mom made in the story. Our project-based learning will follow Felicity Juniper Pickle on her many adventures around Midnight Gultch, Tennessee. Be on the look-out for the "Beedle," as he or she sneaks in random acts of kindness into the community. What an exciting time this will be!
