This project will rejuvenate my classroom, giving my students a more comfortable place to learn and collaborate. My goal is to create chalkboard paint tables and desk to make brainstorming and collaboration more seamless for my students. Gone will be the day when students have to look for the paper to write down their own ideas. They will now be able to write down their ideas quickly on their desks. The carpet will provide a specific space for my students to work in a larger group. These materials will help foster collaboration, community and make my classroom feel more like home for my students.
