My middle school students come from diverse backgrounds. They also come with different social and emotional experiences. It has always been my goal to provide universal social and emotional learning opportunities for all of my students. Large group/class instruction has been a highlight of my year with grades 5 and 7. I am hoping to provide an additional level of support for my students through the curriculum and sensory tools requested in this project. New resources will allow me to tackle new and difficult social and emtional concerns that my students face daily. I would like some of my students to have additional exposure to social and emotional intelligence resources. All materials requested in this project will directly benefit the students at RMS.
