The lessons and activities that occur on the classroom carpet will be essential to my kindergartners' learning experiences. In the morning we will use the carpet for our morning meeting where we will build classroom community. We will continue to have literacy and math mini lessons on the carpet throughout the day. The carpet I am asking for has clearly delineated seating areas to help my kindergarten students know where to sit. This way they can better attend to lessons and activities. Specifically, the organized rows with a variety of colors saves us time and energy that would otherwise be wasted reminding students where to sit. Instead, this carpet will help us focus our attention on building a kind, caring, and academically rigorous classroom. This carpet will help support my first class of kindergartners as well as many future scholars!
