Kindergartens are constantly on the move so I am trying to take that continuous energy and focus it back to their learning. Having a flexible seating arrangement helps the children who cannot stop wiggling; they'll have seats where they can still move. By doing this they are able to stay focused and engaged for a longer period of time, compared to if they still were sitting in a regular chairs. Active Kids Chairs are the perfect example because the students can be moving around while sitting at their desks working. Cushions give sensory students what they need, also even for someone who wants a softer seat. A picnic table is great for children to work together at a table and again, it's a different seat. By providing these items my students will be able to grow as the young scholars they are and help them reach their dreams.
