I have 24 awesome Pre-K students that come to school every day eager to learn something new. These little ones would benefit tremendously from having access to technology, in this case, tablets for small hands, which would help with learning computer functions, enhancing pre-writing skills, advancing their pre-reading skills while we cover math and language concepts. In addition to enhance their reading and math academic skills, having tablets in my classroom would give my students the opportunity to develop crucial technological proficiency they will definitely need in future grades. Finally, my School District offers amazing programs such as I station and Education Galaxy, programs that help each and every student to be more successful at school. I have only two working computers in my classroom and as of this year we do not longer have a Computer Lab in my school. Having four tablets would make it possible to include in my classroom a Computer Center that can also be used as a Listening Center.
