Classroom learning needs to reflect the real lives of students. My school has made many strides toward making technology accessible. Unfortunately, I am still unable to have a classroom set of computers or tablets every day. I allow students to use their own mobile devices to complete interactive assignments in my class. However, every student does not have the available technology. Having five tablets in my classroom would open so many opportunities for collaboration on a digitally enhanced lesson. Having this technology available may also help classroom operations run much smoother. I would be able to implement a digital hall pass and/or lunch buddy passes.
