Most of my students find it difficult to imagine what life was like in the ancient world. Through the use of Virtual Reality, my students will be able to explore the world in a way that they have never done before. Some students in our district come from rural towns, some of which lack internet access. We would like to offer technology opportunities to students who would not other wise have access. By using virtual reality, students will be transported back in time. They will be able to explore the Coliseum in Rome or the Pyramids of Gaza. In addition, students will be able to see what life is like in many places around the globe. This is of particular value to students from rural backgrounds.
