Research says that kids are digital natives. When it comes to paper/pencils compared to technology, technology is on top. I would like for my students to enjoy coming to school because they know that they don't have to always listen to the teacher or have to write. Research has shown that students learn better through the use of technology. Funding is limited in the school system I facilitate at and due to the lack of funding, our students are not given a fair education. Seeing how excited the students get when they are given computer time makes me want to provide every child a chance to use a form of technology, but we are limited. I've noticed that students focus longer on technology than anything else. I've also noticed that our testing scores improved this year due to it being computer-based. It hurts me that I am only be able to prove a short amount of time to each child weekly.
