Most students choose art for a preferred elective due to their interest in drawing or learning to draw. Drawing is a learned skill, and is developed and improved through daily practice and exploration. Sketchbooks are a great tool for both students and teachers to assess improvements and identify areas where support is needed. These sketchbooks will provide a place for my students to take notes during lessons, practice drawing daily, and store essential knowledge about Art practices, styles, history, culture, and criticism. The pens, pencils, markers and erasers will assist students in recording information and ideas. They also provide a variety of media for the students to explore in their drawing practices.
