Flexible seating is a way to allow children to take charge in their own personal learning in a daily basis. It allows them to make independent choices. During learning stations, the students are allowed to pick where they want to work. This really helps with classroom management and really allow the kids to believe that they are taking charge of their learning. These materials will allow my students to enter the classroom on the first day of school ready and eager to get their learning on in a comfortable, home like environment. All children learn differently and I really believe that have flexible seating within the classroom will enhance those different abilities to learn.
