So many of my students struggle with attention and focus in class, whether it is due to their disabilities or just the lack of movement throughout the day. The ball chairs, wobble chairs, and standing desks in my list would give students the chance to get their wiggles out and help them to focus better on their learning in the classroom. Many of the other items, like the rugs, lamps, and bookshelves, are meant to help make my room less formal and create a space of comfort where they feel welcomed and safe so that real growth and learning can happen.
