Having multiple students with various behavior issues, it's not easy to have them sit next to each other in appropriate ways. They complain about being too squished or someone taking up too much space on the floor. Students who have difficulty sitting in an expected way tend to bother others, not being able to keep their hands and feet to themselves. It would be ideal if students had a carpet to sit on so that they have their own individual space to keep their bodies in check. I am hoping that this will lead to creating a safe and effective classroom for optimal learning.
