Flexible seating in my classroom will allow my active students to work successfully in a fun and engaging environment. My students will feel empowered to have some degree of choice and control over their environment. It will also allow them to change their location and positions as needed. Children need to move. Flexible seating will allow them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. It will help keep their minds more alert and focused. The cvc phonics activities will help build my students word knowledge and skills. It will help them become more confident readers and writers
