My blossoming bunch consist of a group of 6 and 7 year old first graders that are eager to learn. Unfortunately the majority of my students only have access to books and learning activities are during the school day. My desire is to expose them to many different ways of learning and give them every opportunity to succeed. Many of my students were highly affected by Hurricane Harvey, yet they still manage to come to school excited and ready to learn. Due to Hurricane Harvey, some of my students are displaced and are living in shelters, and are being raised by their grandparents, older siblings, and other relatives.
