By creating an environment that is comfortable, welcoming and desirable, students will want to be more invested in the classroom and thus be more invested in their education. Having various seating options such as wobble chairs, students will feel at home, relaxed and at ease so that they will be confident enough to take risks. I believe that changing the traditional look and feel of a classroom (and making it more “family” and student-friendly) can significantly alter a high school student’s perception of what school is and its purpose. By giving students flexible seating availability it can give students that comfort and security.
