My students are able to manipulate touch screen devices with minimal to no assistance for an adult. In our classroom we have desktop computers which the students are constantly clicking out of programs or opening something. This makes independent computer activity time difficult. We have one IPad and most rotation groups have 4 students therefore 3 additional Amazon Fire Kids tablets would make our rotations smoother. Students are able to navigate the iPad with these there for another form of a touch screen such as the Amazon Fire tablet but make the rotations much smoother for the students and myself.
