All my students are English Language Learners coming from very poor families. My students and their parents are dealing with many socio-economic difficulties. All of my students are qualified for free or subsidized breakfast/lunch. Our school is a Title I campus with 85% being classified as lower socio-economic. Many of my students that are newcomers have limited attendance to school in their home country therefore,they lack basic Science concepts related to Ecology. Also, they all lack knowledge of current environmental issues and possible solutions taking away the opportunities for them and their families to help the environment and to have the endeavor to Save Our Earth!
