Reading in a small group is something my students do daily with me or another teacher. We are working on level appropriate skills for phonics, reading strategies, comprehension, and much more. Students get very excited when they know they have become readers! One way I can reinforce these skills and allow students to practice these skills on their own is through independent reading. Each student has their own book box with books that are at their reading level. These books are important to help re-emphasize the skills they have been learning in their small groups. With your donation we will be able to help grow our classroom library of leveled readers, giving students more reading options and allowing them to excel in their reading ability. Please consider donating and helping our hearts grow fonder of reading!
