Children need to have access to books; not just at school, but at homes as well. Sadly, many children do not have books available in their homes. I would like to change that by starting a lending library in my preschool classroom. Parents want to help their children excel at reading, but some don't have the resources and others don't know how. With your help, I would like to not only provide the reading material for my students, but also suggestions for parents to interact with their children after reading to them. I want my students to love reading, and I want my parents to love reading to their children. With your help I can start this program in my classroom and spread this joy for reading into the homes of my 30 students.
