I have the privilege or partnering with a special educator next year to teach a class within a class. With the diverse amount of students in my room, I need flexible seating to accommodate the hands on projects we will be doing in our classroom. My students enjoy hands-on learning and they need a student centered workplace to enhance their learning experience. Wobble chairs and balance balls will be used to help students move their bodies, while also learning and maintaining focus. A small rectangular table will be lowered to the ground so that students can sit on wiggle pobs and work closer to the ground. Finally surf tables will be used to help students sit on the floor while also keeping our 1:1 laptops safe! Please consider donating to my project to create an accessible classroom for my students. Students will be able to choose seating that best accommodates their learning style. This will increase engagement and allow students' opportunities to put their best foot forward.
