My students are all in with creating innovative designs that would help solve some of the problems that exits in society. My students have enjoyed achieving common goals with their classmates in a project-based learning environment. Our makerspace invites students' curiosity, inspires wonder, encourages playfulness and artistic design, and celebrates unique solutions. My students need a 3D printer and filament in our makerspace to unleash their creativity and imagination during hands-on learning time! Project-based learning in the makerspace and STEAM environment will teach my students to grow as problem solvers, inventors, and creators for the future workforce! Students will come together to collaborate, test their theories, fail, and persevere to complete their ideas and projects. They will be motivated to work through their failures to come to a solution. Students have been primarily motivated with the "a" in STEAM. It's pure joy to see my students' faces light up when technology meets art, that their artistic designs can come to life! My students will feel pride through the process of these projects, thus inspiring a deeper understanding of their learning and true ownership through intrinsic motivation.
