Young learners are always ready to explore the world around them using their hands and their imaginations. My students enjoy creating, communicating through play, and building. Having a variety of Lego materials including multicultural characters, will allow my students to explore, share, and make sense of the world around them, which is important in early childhood. Legos allow them to use their STEM skills, which are essential to provide an opportunity for creativity within the sciences. The Lego sets will help my students become lifelong learners and will help enhance their fine motor, visual skills, pre-academics, and most importantly immersion into the sciences.They will be conversation starters, incorporate math and writing, allow them to use their engineering skills, and improve their teamwork. With the LEGO table, my students will be able to set up a variety of LEGO towers for our Stem work at the same time they will have easy storage.
