The bird feeder will attract birds to our windows in hopes that will will setup the birdhouse as a home. This will allow our students to see birds first hand and with luck see a mother bird hatch an egg. It is something that will keep their attention since they will see it daily. They will be able to graph if they saw a bird, how many, and what colors of birds. This will overlap their love of science into math graphing. The birdhouse will allow our students to watch the life cycle. How wonderful it would be if they could see a bird lay an egg, nurture it, and the egg hatch with a new baby bird. The books will help them further their interest in science and assist us in picking out science projects for our next adventure. It would also help students pick projects for the upcoming science fair, so that they can compete individually.
