Math and reading can be made easy for second language learners when it is hands-on and fun. The resources I choose for my project will help my students increase their language skills and learn math and reading with computers. Doing book work and seating can become boring and lead to behaviors. However, by differentiating instruction with the iPad student can select to listen to a reading or math lesson in their naive language until mastery of English is accomplished. Also, because my class is large it takes longer to complete assigned lessons having more technology will help students have more rich language opportunities in the classroom. The Listening Center is a positive resource in my classroom because it will provide students with a variety of rich texts in English which will help them with word directionally, fluency, and reading comprehension.
