Students need something to look forward to after working hard to complete their centers. I’d like to get these few reading and math activities as an incentive to produce quality center work in a timely manner. Once students complete their weekly center assignments they will be able to continue their learning through play. Imagine working hard to complete your weekly writing assignment during centers. Day one you brainstorm and plan, day two you write your rough draft, and day three you proof read, edit, and write your final draft. Now what? AR read until your center time is up or start an extra assignment? No way! I want me kids to be rewarded for their hard work and that’s where these items can help.
