With flexible seating, my students will be able to shape their own work space. A flexible learning environment will promote higher levels of student-to-student collaboration and connection. This will increase engagement and generate higher achievement outcomes for the students. Students learn better when they can work together! Traditional desks in rows isolates students. Flexible seating, such as wobble chairs, allows students to easily pair up or work in small groups. The seats I chose are light weight and can be easily moved from place to place around the room. They will give my students additional choices to make effective learning choices based on their learning needs.
