In an effort to keep my students motivated and excited about reading, I want to implement book of the month club into my classroom this year. Each month the students in my class will be presented with books from a specific series. "Henry and Mudge" and "Mr. Putter and Tabby" will be my first book club books. My students will be challenged to read as many books as they can from these series. At the end of the month the student will celebrate their success and share with each other their favorite moments in the story. It will be a celebration of reading.
