Plastic Injection Process: This project uses many different hand tools. The project is used to test the students safe use of tools. Tools used in the project are: miter saw, block plane, rulers, metal stamps, file and drill press. I would like to go from cutting wood pegs to teach students about plastic injection and use plastic golf pegs (using the injection machine) to show this process. In our Industrial Arts 1 class, students will be learning about reading directions, completing a project, and career opportunities. This plastic injection machine would greatly help us out as we transition to new materials for building.
