The students are given the opportunity to read and write in classroom every day. I try to provide an authentic environment to get the joy of reading and writing. Snuggling up with a good book in a comfortable spot makes everyone more excited to read. We are building our stamina and having fun reading at the same time. My goal each year is to instill the love of reading in each of my students. Lifelong readers is my desire. I want children exposed to all different types of books, authors, and genres to find their go-to place to find their next book.
