In the wake of COVID-19, my school division has made the decision to close schools for the rest of the school year. We will be delivering all lessons online. This decision was made to keep all students and their families safe. While in the classroom we have access to some technology the students in 2nd grade are not able to take it home because we are not 1:1 with technology. This has left some of my students without the means to access the internet which inhibits them to communication with me and receiving the most current curriculum. My class is used to having guest speakers from around the world, their parents and family members come in to their learning environment and enhance their daily classroom experience. The iPads will enable the students to reach that same level of experience from home.
