The Rocketbooks will be used in a variety of ways. Some students are unable to take notes. An Educational Assistant, EA for short, takes notes for the student. With the Rocketbook, the EA will be able to take notes for the student, and send the notes directly to the student. There will not be worry about notes being unorganized or lost. My students with visual disabilities will be able to use their Chromebook to zoom in and enlarge notes.
The students within my classroom will be able to organize their notes and assignments better. The Rocketbooks can remain in the classroom, but students will have access to their notes wherever they are. Parents can also simultaneously get a copy of what the student is learning in class that day so they are kept in the loop about what is going on in class.
For my students with severe needs, I could send a note home daily to parents about the students’ progress in class that day. This is traditionally done with paper notebooks, however, notebooks often get lost and torn up between home and school. The Rocketbook would eliminate that problem and save paper.
