Students perform better in school when their classroom environment is organized. I am requesting a paper organizer that will serve as our classroom mailbox system. The mailbox will be set up near the classroom door. Before the students leave for the day they will be able to collect their homework quickly without any confusion. This system will help me see who has taken their homework and who hasn't. It also is a helpful to keep papers organized for the students who need extra support and organizational practice. The extra slots will be used to organize the remaining papers and assessments that the students will need for the week. In addition, I am also requesting a new pencil sharpener and pencils for our classroom because the one we currently have is broken and a classroom can never have too many pencils. When the students are organized, they perform better in the classroom and feel successful.
