These hands-on materials will provide my students with an engaging opportunity to apply their learning in regards to literacy and math. As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to further excite my young students about letters and numbers. The light table materials will help students to apply early math concepts such as counting, sorting, and patterning. The dice will allow students to work on their counting and quantifying abilities. The alphabet beads and magnetic letters will help students with letter identification, while the phones will help them with the recognition of letter sounds. Each of these materials will be explored and loved on a daily basis by my curious, and insightful students. All of these hands on materials will help our classroom environment to be even more enriching in the areas of math and literacy development!
