My students work best when they are organized and have choices. Breaking up the class library into small bins will make it less overwhelming for students to make choices and more likely that they will read. Having their own space to work with a divider will allow them to focus on their work, especially writing. My students each need differentiation so having many choices to present them lessons allows them to engage in their learning. They take great pride in their work and by providing them with the tools to work, they will produce higher-level work. Having mini white-boards will give them an easy way to do their work without wasting paper each time and allow me to see their work quickly and efficiently.
