My small school is located in a rural area in Kansas. We are a K-8 building in a town of only a few hundred people. Most of our kids ride the bus to school from the outlying farming communities. We may be small, but our school has lots of pride. Our parents are supportive but many are very low-income. We are lucky and have music class every day, so I think our kids are awesome musicians! Being able to attend a small school helps our kids get lots of one-on-one time with all of our teachers.
