We live in a small, rural, farming town in Wyoming. The students are good,hard-working, farm kids that take education seriously, and aren't afraid to try new things. I knew that singing in my classes might be a tough sell for High School teenagers, but they all had such great attitudes, that by the end of the first week, they were begging to try new songs everyday. Some of the football team would even burst into song on the bus while traveling to our away games. Our school is a Title I school, with the majority of students qualifying for either free or reduced lunch. The kids help out on their family farms during the summer. Many work alongside Hispanic workers and try hard to communicate with them, giving them added motivation to work hard in my Spanish class. The school they attend is a K-12 building. Seeing High School seniors giving high fives to 6 and 7 year- olds in the hallway is a normal occurrence. Music is a big part of their lives. Combining that with Spanish is a great combination
