Students learn geometry best when they are able to visualize and work with the concepts. There are so many websites that allow students to manipulate and "see" geometry. My students have laptops, but the touchscreen capability of the Surface Pro will better enable them to use these sites. I am looking to use stations next semester, and the Surface Pro would be one of the stations where students can collaborate and work together on a project or problem. During whole-class instruction, I could use the Surface Pro to demonstrate how to use online tools for geometric constructions. I think this Surface Pro would greatly enhance my teaching and the learning of my students.
