Increasing technology resources within the classroom will allow our students the opportunity to be better prepared for the future. In our world today, the use of technology is rapidly increasing in every aspect of life. As they grow, our students will be expected to complete many different tasks and assignments using various digital formats, so it is evident that we need to immerse our children in technology when appropriate and feasible. With the addition of these six iPad Minis, we will be able to drastically increase the availability of technology for engaging and hands-on experiences within our classrooms. Our students will be able to utilize this additional technology during many different aspects of our school day including, but not limited to, small group and independent learning. A variety of differentiated, educational apps will be accessible to students in the interest of increasing math, literacy, and life-long learning skills. These iPads will enable us to be responsive to our students' learning goals and encourage each of them to take a deeper ownership of his or her own learning.
