Please help my students develop develop critical lifelong skills including problem-solving, flexibility, creativity, self-reflection, autonomy, and collaboration with flexible seating. In addition, processing information becomes easier when students use flexible seating they are more comfortable and stay on task and are more. The learning environment has a direct impact on students' achievement and with flexible seating students have more control which in turn improves students’ engagement. With flexible seating, several 4th grade standards like Speaking and Listening Standard SL.4.1b, Follow agreed-upon rules for discussions and carry out assigned roles will be addressed and Reading Standard RI.4.7, Interpret information presented visually, orally, or quantitatively (e.g., in charts, graphs, diagrams, time lines, animations, or interactive elements on Web pages) and explain how the information contributes to an understanding of the text in which it appears. Overall, flexible seating meets the needs of diverse learners and makes learning fun and welcoming.
