Because the students were so generous in creating an environment for the following years' 6th graders, my husband and I set to creating prototypes, using our own money and a bit of resourcefulness. My husband designed and built a bar height table and talked a local business out of some stools that they were phasing out. These prototypes have proven to not be classroom durable and are wearing rather quickly. Help make it more permanent by incorporating classroom quality elements that will last for years to come. We are looking for discs for floor seating to replace the pillows that we are currently using, and stability balls to replace the cold, hard chairs.
