As described before that this is a diverse classroom. We are going to start to talk about diversity (classroom photo on the side shows the diversity wheel!) It would be beneficial to have books for the students, staff development books, and flexible seating. The donations will help open doors for our students and staff. Getting a donation for flexible seating would allow our students to work in environments where their bodies are getting the movement, pressure or flexibility that they need to focus on their academics. Donations for books for the students and the staff development books will create an environment for students and staff to learn about more diverse topics. This also could help students with their social skills, how people view different topics differently and how to appropriately socialize in those conversations. The staff having more knowledge would create safe and positive relations that we strive for with the students.
