I have taught Dual Credit US History for the past 3 years with a text that is difficult for students to read. This coming year, I am offering the course through a new school (Indiana State University) and wish to give my students a better text. Foner's "Give Me Liberty" comes highly recommended and would be a great start to our new partnership with ISU! Students will be expected to use this textbook as a college freshman would be expected to use it in a US History survey course. The difference is that they will be taking this course has high school juniors. This will make it a much more intimate setting that will help students learn the material at a much better rate.
