COVID and remote learning have been very stressful for students and educators. We are all in a learning phase with this new way of educating students. I have noticed significant increases in social-emotional needs for students. They are stressed out and frustrated. Their grades are dropping and students are overwhelmed. COVID is really affecting our students and I am hoping that with these resources, I can provide lessons for my students to help them cope with the remote learning environment. Teachers Pay Teachers has a variety of resources that are already made and ready to use with students. They have small group lessons and forms that I can use to help support my students. These lessons on social-emotional learning have topics such as organization, note-taking, time management, stress management, and coping strategies. The books, games, and resources will also be useful in teaching the necessary skills to students. Thank you for your consideration and support for our students. Your support will help me to support my students increase academic performance in the remote learning environment as well as provide necessary coping strategies to manage their emotions during this difficult time.
