COVID and remote learning have been very stressful for students and educators. We are all in a learning phase with this new way of educating students. I have noticed significant increases in social-emotional needs for students. They are stressed out and frustrated. Their grades are dropping and students are overwhelmed.
COVID is really affecting our students and I am hoping that with these resources, I can provide lessons for my students to help them cope with the remote learning environment. Teachers Pay Teachers has a variety of resources that are already made and ready to use with students. They have small group lessons and forms that I can use to help support my students. These lessons on social-emotional learning have topics such as organization, note-taking, time management, stress management, and coping strategies. The books, games, and resources will also be useful in teaching the necessary skills to students.
