My students will use these chromebooks to carry out a variety of web-based activities to enhance their educational experience. In addition to using chromebooks to enhance literacy, other educational websites will be incorporated such as: Study Island, MyOn, IXL, and Accelerated Reading. I also work closely with the math intervention teacher, as we share many of the same students. By working in close proximity, I will be able to share Chromebooks with the math intervention teacher. Sharing resources will impact student learning across the curriculum. "Reading is dreaming with open eyes". Chromebooks will not only help me differentiate lessons in order to target the needs of my students, but will also help me to progress monitor students growth. These Chromebooks will allow my students the opportunity to explore a world of endless possibilities and build confidence in reading and writing. One of the greatest features of Chromebooks is the ability for students to listen and visualize stories which helps to bring reading alive!
