In the spring of 2017 we had our very first Field Day for the students. We used materials that were donated by the staff for games and events. While it was not much, the students had an absolute blast. They were able to work together as teams to achieve the goal of “pieing” some of their favorite staff in the face. Not only were the students able to have a day of fun, but they were also able to bond with each other and staff members. We are greatly anticipating Field Day 2018. However, we would like to have a variety of games, and activities for them to do. The best part about the things we are looking to purchase is that they can be used throughout the school year for classes, and special events. The event materials we are looking to purchase such as tug of war ropes, hopping balls, and group tarps cannot only be used for field day, and gym class, they can also be used as part of the Intramural events that happen once a week throughout the school year. With your generous support, we will be able to purchase these materials. We thank you for helping us to give our students the chance to relax and just be kids. While they may not remember everything that we try to teach them, they will remember that their teachers, and others cared about them enough to come together to give them the opportunity to have fun in a safe environment.
