Students were introduced to Osmo kit during technology. The kids absolutely love these kits and they have made math and literacy even more fun through the use of technology. We will use these during word work time, in all aspects of math, and to build phonemic awareness. One of our favorite things about the Osmo kits is that not only do they help kids learn through the use of technology, but they do so in a hands-on and interactive way. Kids aren't just sitting in front of a screen... they are learning while they play! Students are totally engaged by using things from tangrams to letter cards. All tools build upon foundational skills. By having multiple Osmo kits in our room, we can further personalize learning by utilizing 21st century skills.
