Our students are at our school because they have made some mistakes, but their education is still important and ongoing. The fact that our students have come here speaks to the traditional school and classroom setting not working for them. These students need a new approach to learning, and we give that to them here. Reading books builds vocabulary, improves spelling and enhances writing, and we provide our students with books they can relate to through classroom libraries to replace the school library we do not have. The books in my order will certainly help provide more of a current variety for our kids to read. We also provide a more hands-on environment to keep the students up, awake and engaged at the whiteboard. Having more board space will allow for more students to be at the front of the classroom working. These resources will be wonderful tools in our everyday classroom lessons to continue to grow and enhance our students' education.
