Over the past year, students have not had access to libraries or a lot of new reading material. Students need to be retaught a love of reading, and I would like to do that by exposing them to different genres of literature. These chapter books will help me cover the Nevada Content Standards in fun and creative ways by utilizing our district novel unit. I will be able to cover more of our standards and introduce them to the world of Andrew Clements. Students will be able to read, discuss, and create together as we explore this exciting novel.

About my class
