We will use these special art materials to create in the style of contemporary artists like Callen Schaub, Lorien Stern, Kindah Khalidy and Amber Vittoria (and many more). Our art theme for the year is "Let's Create Magic!" Sharpies, glitter crayons, gel crayons, squeegees, and spinners definitely increase engagement, especially after learning from home where most of my students had limited access to any type of art supplies. Special art materials, like acrylic paint markers, allow students to add an extra layer of expression and detail. Art is a great motivator for the students at my school!
